Apple launched two of its most awaited phones - iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro a couple of weeks ago. However, the company has only started taking pre-orders for these devices on November 6. Despite the one-week waiting period, a Romanian tech blogger called George Buhnici got a hold of the iPhone 12 Mini. In turn, he shared a video on YouTube where he tells his views and compares iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro.
The review noted that the iPhone 12 Mini is not that different from its larger siblings. Just like the other phones, this one too can transmit data at high speeds, thanks to its processor. Anyways according to the review, the iPhone 12 Mini has dimensions 131.5 x 64.2 x 74 mm. This means that it is slightly narrower and shorter than iPhone 12, which measures 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4. On the other hand, the iPhone 11 Pro Max measures 158 x 77.8 x 8.1 mm.
Despite its small size, the iPhone 12 Mini comes with similar features to its siblings. Its small size, however, has its benefits like, for instance, it can fit easily in your pocket. Besides, the device is packed with dual rear-facing cameras, an A14 Bionic chipset, 4GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. It also encompasses a 2,227 mAh battery and supports 5G just like iPhone 12 Pro. On top of this, it has a pixel density of 476 PPI. This is the highest screen density as compared to other Apple devices.
It is worth mentioning that the iPhone 12 Mini is not the only small phone from Apple. It follows iPhone SE, which is also the smallest and was released in 2016.
Apart from George Buhnici, there have been other reviews, some from critics who have not welcomed this compact phone well. Some reviews think that the 2,227mAh battery is bad, which means you will need extra trips to charge the device. Additionally, it has the same old design as its predecessors. This is not impressive and can only entice Apple diehards or those who have no idea about tech. However, some embrace the idea that this is a compact phone with 5G.
Other than its battery life, the iPhone 12 Mini is almost like an alternative to the iPhone 12 Pro. Its features are similar to most recent iPhone releases. Besides, it can be perfect for anyone looking for a small-sized phone.
